What upset has the biggest possibility in the SEC in week 1?

Vandy over USC?
Michigan over Bama?
NCState over Tennessee?(may not be an upset)
Clemson over Auburn?(not considered an upset really)
UCA over Mississippi?

Which of these SEC teams do you see losing, if any?

If I were a USC fan, i'd be nervous playing Vandy at their place on National TV with Franklin having a year to prepare, but maybe that's just me.

I can see all of those upsets happening except for Bama. That one would shock me (though I'd be freakin ecstatic).

In order of most likely
Clemson over Auburn (like you said not really an upset)
NCState over TN
UCA over MS
Vandy over USC
Michigan over Bama

Yea, forgot about La Tech....I still haven't gotten used to searching for A&M and Mizzou when looking for SEC teams on a schedule.

It would be an upset if Tennessee beats NC State.

Agreed...Tenn will be the underdog. Dooley is in serious hot water right now.

I would say the SEC team most likely to get beat is probably Tenn (not counting the Vandy-SC game bc obviously an SEC team will lose that one)

I think Vandy gets beat by at least 2 scores.

Bama wins easily. Tenn loses in a close one to NC State. Vandy loses by 2 scores or more to USC. Bama hammers Michigan. Ole Miss beats UCA by 2 scores. Clemson beats Auburn. A&M hammers La Tech.

A&M vs La Tech weather could be a big factor. Thur. night in Shreveport with what is left of the hurricane.

Tennessee is favored by 4 right now. I think the Wolfpack win outright. It's Dooley's last year.

I want to say LaTech but, they have lost too many starters on defense. I think they return something like 5. A&M lost a good bit as well on defense, but they have much better depth.

Going to have to pick the NC State game. Like it's been mentioned... I'm not sure that's considered an upset.

I'll take USC and give you two touchdowns. How much?
USC is going to win by more than 2 touchdowns, but Hawaii had a chance to win the WAC last year while USC has about 100,000 distractions and a fool for a head coach.

Of the listed upsets above, I think Hawaii over USC is more likely than any of those (not counting Aub and UT games).

If anything I think it'll be close enough to make every writer and their mom get off the USC bandwagon.

The SEC is going to go 0-2 in Atlanta this weeend. The NCSU-UT game won't even be close. I think Vandy and Central Arkansas are also good chances for an upset. Bama will win by 20.

Central Arky is one of the better FBS teams. Ole Miss is REALLY, REALLY bad. If they could lose to JSU at home 2 years ago with that talent, they could lose to CA with the lower talent they have now.

How about the comment from the UT fan that acts indignant at the thought that anyone could predict a UT loss to MSU. He asks if the writer can name any recent MSU starters.

Hello. Fletcher Cox, Vick Ballard, James Carmon, KJ Wright, Jamar Chaney, Anthony Dixon, Derek Sherrod and a few others come to mind. How about the 9 current Bulldogs on watch lists this year?

What a moron.
