this is actually one that I think they should have a rule on.......if artificial noisemakers provide a unfair advantage......? No conspiracy theory here, I just think the color of the field, whether natural or synthetic, should be a common aspect from venue to venue.

“Boise wears blue uniforms on their blue turf,” Baldwin explained, “and it seems to work for them. We’re going to look at some different uniform options, ourselves, to see if one color gives us an advantage over another on our red surface.”

1. Nobody really cares about what some likely hippie infested unshaven school in the middle of the pacific northwest does (boise included)

2. Alabama and Auburn do not play in the big sky or the WAC.

3. Idaho and Washington do not have the confederate flag on their state flags.

I am just sick of hearing about Boise & their crybaby BCS ****, there for <17> blue turf, red turf, & whatever other color they can come up w/. Put together a schedule that is a little tougher than 100th in the nation for more than a few years, & then talk BCS

But I can't imagine anyone watching a whole game. It's just too hard on the eyes. This could easily backfire on them in the 'national exposure' department.

If you'll notice, most TV news shows incorporate blue in the backgrounds because it's a color that recedes, meaning it creates depth and is easier on the eyes. Meanwhile red is a hot color that jumps out and overpowers other colors. In other words, it's headache inducing nightmare.
