I already posted this in another thread, but
here is what I believe Maneri will say postgame:
UCLA's routine groundouts were hit too hard and gave Bregman a boo boo. Also, UCLA's dugout cheered too loud after scoring the go-ahead run in the eighth; this distracted Mason Katz while he was talking to the fans about how tasty his juice was. Just totally uncalled for from UCLA... But Maneri said it was very classy when Katz gave the "suck it" sign and pounded his chest after hitting the home run. Katz did it "the right way."
I guess that's just the "difference in the two programs": LSU has a bunch of Sunday School boys/Rhodes Scholars who like to "play with emotion", but UCLA is just a bunch of thugs who's sole desire is to show LSU up by simply kicking their ***. How dare UCLA defeat the mighty Tigahs... The greatest college baseball team of all time.
This game doesn't even count by the way. ESPN, the state of Louisiana, Oprah Winfrey, Barak Obama, and the Vatican have already crowned LSU the national champions.
