What will you do if we lose to Louisiana Tech?

I would, however, go back and reply to that thread about "what are we gong to do if we go to a bowl and then Croom gets stolen from us" thread that was posted several days go. I wouldn't be able to resist that.

While I do give "them" some credit, I expect us to muscel our way thru. Losing is not in my mind not gonna happen. But we are MSU.
I'll worry about it when it happens...remember the Maine.

crazier things have happened, but I hope this is a good tune up game for us........if we do really lose, it will be what if mode for the rest of the season, & hoping that we can find a way to beat Alabama again.........I really like watching SabenMidget<17> throw his little sideline hissy fits.

bitches. Just ordered my GT tix today. We typically get embarassed before I plan on going to see us play a game with a friend from a rival school (GT alum in this case). Still remember dreading the skull drugging UAT was gonna put on us in 96 when going over with my UAT office mate that year (lost to La Tech that year).

In 1968, when MState went 0-8-2, and in 1996. Terry Bradshaw was the Qb the first time for them, while Tim Rattay was the QB when they beat MState in 1996.

Drink heavily.

I'd be a sad drunk in that case however.

Actually that was a year before Rattay. I believe Jason Martin was our QB in '96 when we beat you.

I'm not even thinking about it. We are talking about a team that went in and got shut out at Ole Miss last year and have already lost a couple of their better defensive players to academics. We definitely could "State" it up, but I just don't see it happening. But seeing that I will be at Orange Beach that weekend it will probably take a long walk on the beach to cool me down if it does happen

No starters were lost due to academics. We lost what would have been a 2nd string LB and a couple of recruits that were going to be RS. Not talking smack and saying we are going to kick the crap out of MSU or anything, just that if you beat us it will be because you are better.

There is a highly recruited DT who would get significant PT -- Rolando Melancon (a transfer from Tenn.) who needs to pass two summer school classes to be eligible. We don't know his status yet. Hopefully he will play.

Like I said in another thread I think both defenses are going to be tough. I think it will be decided on which Offense/QB makes the fewest mistakes and which qb can sneak in a few big plays. Someone predicted 19-7 and a score like that wouldn't shock me at all.

look like this

11. Miss. St. - La Tech Coach just saved his job and prevented a Crooming.
12. Vanderbilt - B/c I am tired of believing.

....

Cold cous cous - 'nuff said.

Why the $!!# are we playing these guys at their place? I would rather play an Arkansas State or Jacksonville at our place than go to Rustin (********) Louisiana. This could easily be upset city. I can compare this to going and playing Southern at their ******** stadium down in Hattiesburg. Why dould we ever play a crap school like Southern or Teck at their place.

That's Ruston, genius. And, Ruston and Starkville are basically the same place...small college towns without much to do. A guy who went to school in Starkville talking smack about Ruston just sounds stupid.

It's not as stupid as posting spelling smack on a message board.

People who post smack about spelling smack are more annoying than people who post spelling smack...
