What would be the general consensus on Malzahn?

Malzahn would put up points but the first opening (LSU) he'd jump ship.

I could definitely see a Petrino to UF and Malzahn back home to Arkansas though

We wouldn't change the offense that much and his name would keep recruits. He doesn't really seem to have a personality though, which worries me.

The kids love his offense. No clue about the rest of what he could offer...

I think he's ready. He could make Hud the OC, and by the time Mahlzahn leaves then Hud can take over.

he would thrive again next year. I'd say throw him a bone and see what he says. But there are a couple of other candidates that could make equally good head coaches. Hell, Malzahn has never been a head coach but the scheme he teaches is second to nobody.

Auburns offensive numbers the year before he got there and his first year there are astounding. The guy can flat coach offense. He would be my first want as well.

I did not say he is Dan Mullen...and I WANT DAN TO STAY! but he's a hot name in coaching.

Just like Dan, he will have just finished coaching the heisman trophy winner, will have just coached a national championship game, and is running the top offense in the SEC</p>
