You know the one that had a huge picture of Croom on the side and was unveiled last year right before the LaTech catastrophe.

Did we let him keep it so he could move his **** out of town?

lots of schools are doing this stuff. also, i believe the greater houston (tx) alumni raised the money and gave the trailer to the athletic department.

I happen to know the exact answer to your question. I pass it everyday on the way to work. Its in Columbus at a industrial plant. Its just parked there in between a few other tractor trailers. I laugh every time I see it. I will try to look for the name of the company on the way home.

stop in Houston, Byrne thanked that chapter for the trailer but made a joke and basically asked them to raise some more money to repaint it, because now it was useless....

I'd think it wouldn't be stupid expensive. It isn't painted on. Its a graphic-wrap stuff. Costs a few grand for a car. I dunno, maybe $100k for a trailer? The trailer is big, but at least its a box which lacks all the contours of your average car.

During the infamous face to face that Byrne had with Croom, Greg's cronies packed the thing up with all of Croom's **** and had it waiting for him in the Bryan parking lot when Sly walked out.

(53' x 9')*2= 954 sq. ft sides
(9' x 8.5')*1 = 77 sq. ft. back
Approximate 1031 sq. ft

so ... $10,000- $12,000

The guy that does it in Jackson is a MSU grad so you could probably get it for cost

I bet we're capable. I'm not sure if we're competent or trustworthy of handling that much money.

If the details could be worked out, I bet we have enough people and money here to raise $12,000 for a new trailer wrap. Double cool for a "donated by" thing off in the corner with the SPS logo on it.

were on the wrap, I guarantee that we could raise $12k - again, Im not sure it would cost that much.

I have a feeling that the athletic department would have no problem with it, as long as SPS had a new logo (they would not accept Bulldog Strong Ale)

Fortunately, many posters dabble in graphic design and could come up with something fairly quickly. It would have to be vectorized.

The trailer is in columbus,MS. Its in the "Mayflower" tractor trailer parking. There are like 10 Green and yellow mayflower trailers and then Peeping Croom slaped in the middle of them.

was donated by McConnell (sp?) Bros. Mayflower from Columbus and I personally saw that their logo and name were both on the trailer when it was parked at the stadium. I had not heard the Houston alumni had ponied up the money. Either way, I personally think the trailer is a great touch. Nothing says "we suck" like having the buses pull onto other campuses following a U-Haul van (actually it was a Mayflower van, but pretty much the same thing) carrying all of our ****. The trailer was a huge upgrade over that terrible looking thing.
