What's the deal with Dixon - 6 carries 20 yds after 10 games

Is he just another great bulldog that fades quickly into the NFL boneyard. Not sure if he has been injured, maybe some of you guys that follow the 49ers can enlighted us.

I don't think he's been hurt. He's just 3rd string on the team.... A team where the starter is one of the best RBs in the league.

Frank Gore lite. They don't need him as long as Frank Gore is healthy. Hunter comes in and is the faster change of pace guy that can also be physical. I just don't see him playing as long as Frank Gore is healthy.

However, they work Gore like a goddamn dog, so he's sure to get injured (got a knee today) and Dixon will see some short yardage carries.
