Me: "Give Henig a chance".

I never said he was great. Just that he wasn't getting much of a chance before being blasted by you soothsayers....who obviously had it right.

Coach34 has to be anything related to coach34sports.com

I recall a lot of "Pack your bags, Ron Polk!" talk on here about a week before he got us to the world series.

What else...

Polk's 2007 CWS team finished the seasonby losing 4 of its last 5 SEC series, getting swept in midweek by Austin Peay, and going 0-2 at Hoover.

We just got hot at the right time.

That the original six packers were just a bunch of bothersome gnats who would be swatted down after a short time. ** boy howdy **

I said that a few years ago, and I really thought he had the raw talent to be a consistently successful SEC QB under the right coach. At the end of last year, and with the hype going into this year, I thought it was looking pretty decent. But after his play this year, he couldn't be further from that. He is just a terrible QB and not even close to what Campbell was at Auburn. I also said I would trade an SEC Tournament championship run and an NCAA bid last year to get rid of Stans in hopes of getting a better coach for this season because I thought Stans making a postseason run would cover up the fact we had serious problems with the bball team last year that needed to be addressed. That didn't go over so well on this board.

How could I forget? I am frequently reminded of it during every basketball season.

Hey, they were the same height and weight when Gordon came out ... that's all that matters, right?

My first week here.<div>
</div><div>From a Penn State board I frequent--if you put FC: before your post and the subject had been posted before, you won't get "Germans" as a response. I suggested it here to keep from seeing so many posts starting with, "This may be Germans, but...".</div><div>
</div><div>I got shot down quick and hard. Germans may love David Hasselhoff, but SPS loves the Germans. </div>

I'm on board with the FC nomenclature. The Germans are so tired.

I've tried to block out that entire year. Was it game 1 or game 4 when we lost to LaTech? Or was it even that year? I've seriously done my best to forget about the Crooms era.

we began and ended the season with debacles (La Tech and Ole Miss). I think these lossesworked out for usin the long run, but that was what you call a **** sandwich of a season.

Followed closely by "Rick is improving as a floor coach..."

Followed closely by Cohen will out recruit Bianco (and everybody else) by his second class.

Damn those are some dubmass arguments. Shameful.

I don't remember who it was, but one SPSer was doing a speech similar to Bluto's from Animal House. As I was reading and came across the "...was it over when the German's bombed Pearl Harbor?" line, I felt compelled to respond and ask the poster if he was joking because I seriously hoped he was since his history was a bit off. It was obvious at this point that I hadn't seen Animal House and in about 2 minutes that thread was about 3 pages long letting me know how much of a dubmass I was.<div>
</div><div>I didn't post on the board for about a year after that...</div>

I was against playing Jackson State a few years ago. Now, I want to play one of the SWAC teams from Mississippi a year.

I was worried about how their fans were going to act based on how the JSU fans acted at USM, but to their credit, both JSU and Alcorn fans have behaved very well- and better than the fans at many other SEC schools (cough, LSU, cough) when they visited MSU.

It's also fun to see their fans because usually it's the diehards, and playing a SEC school in Mississippi means a lot to them- even if they get beat 56-0.

It's good for Mississippi, even though it's not as big as the Egg Bowl, or will be as when we play USM. It's still good. I would rather watch us play an in-state SWAC team than a UT-Martin to be honest.

Pretty sure that AssEnd and DS completely dominated my argument, but I still continued to to argue. I blame my ignorance on being on vacation and too sunburned to go to the beach... but also too sunburned to not drink all day.

I still contend that Lebron is bigger, faster, stronger than MJ and at least as skillful.... but it no way does he have the "IT" factor that made MJ...well...MJ.

I once said I don't see how Cohen is any better than Croom
Jarvis once remarked how being ranked might be a bad thing and I commented how he must be a true State fan with that attitude.
I stone cold locked a win vs Auburn feeling all cocky from my prediction of GA last year. Coach34 and HD6
The Crown Special Reserve offer still stands.

In the opinion of studentdawg87, I offered contradicting opinions on two totally different subjects that were contrary to his opinions, and it pi$$ed him off.... I'm scarred for life....
