The special teams return game. We have Pegues. In short, he is lightning in a bottle. The problem is that Croom's schemes keep the cork in the bottle. He ran into the back of the blocking TWICE on kickoff returns tonight. In the three years that he has returned kickoffs, I am certain we do that at least once every game.
Punt returns-HORRIBLE; take away the Ole Miss return he has done absolutely nothing.
The fact is our offense isn't very talented. Of course, we severely underuse the talent we DO have. But our return guy could have been one of the better ones in the country. But, under Croom and his assistant coaches, he is one of the worst return men statistically in the country. That is a fact.
