What's your thought on number of playoff teams

IMO, that is one round too any. Go back to an Endowment game and let the schools make more money with an opponent that means more gate money. This year Hickory will go into a nine team conference meaning only two non-conference games. At least one playoff game is a good possibility, but I'd rather we schedule an endowment game with a local school that could generate more money for both schools and the NCHSAA than a non competitive first round playoff game.

I feel like this is the best take. The nice thing is everyone can play the extra game, which is extra football (and hopefully revenue) for all.

The only people i can see this would be an issue with are schools that have a hard time finding local opponents, which has been an issue with the SMC and I am sure a few other small out of the way schools.
