Owen lost 28-27. Went for 2 point conversion with 18 seconds left and came up just short. Fought back after being down 21-0. Cherryville scored 68 week 1. To say they are a dirty team is an understatement but I’m proud of the Warhorses tonight. Get them next week Horses!

Both Owen and Madison look to be improved, I can't remember the last time Madison was 2-0

If y’all would say a prayer for one of our players whom ran the ball down around the 10 of Cherryville before our last score. The story as I know it is Cherryville ripped off his helmet during the play and then headbutted helmet to bare head. He laid on the field what seemed like a half an hour or more. They put him on a stretcher and ultimately took him to the hospital. This was just one of many plays that we saw throughout the night. The refs lost the game, as far as control, in the first quarter. It was a cheap shot and mouthy event all night by Cherryville.

I was there and got home at 1230. I was just really far away from that particular play but first hand player witness explained the play to everyone. We did see the Helmet being ripped off. It’s the aftermath that we couldn’t see
