I get quickly disgusted with his coach. It is inexcusable to throw that many pitches....remember that official count does not include the warm up prior nor the warm ups between innings nor the throw-overs to first and/or second. The baseball pitching arm is not made to do what it does that many times. There are ways to build arm strength and lengthen numbers of pitches as a season progresses. There are also ways to ruin arms and asking a kid to throw that many is just flat out ridiculous. Some folks don't believe it but they haven't seen the damage from the operating table. There is only so much modern medicine can do. If I am a parent of a kid and his coach is doing that we will have a major problem.</p>

This was fought out last year, after Whitney threw like 150 pitches one night. The verdict: College coaches are paid to win. Maneiri, Bianco, all of them do it.

coach that game last week due to suspension, Thompson was in charge. It is pretty odd though that Stratton pitched his worse game in my opinion today, the week after. I'm not a Thompson fan as I mentioned in another post. Georgia and Auburn didn't exactly tear up the league while he was there. A good recruiter he may be, but on the field results have been very average.
