When did sh*tting your pants, to avoid duty to country, become a source of pride for Republicans?

Seriously... are you really not embarrassed to be propping these people up in our White House? How did honor, integrity and bravery come to mean so little in our country? When did this happen? I'm still not believing it's real. Am I the only one here that finds this sickening?

When did going to a jungle country and killing women and children become a "duty to your country"?

Do you take an anti-war stance on our involvement in WW II also? We killed a lot of civilians in bombing raids.

WWII was a different animal, but the bombing raids by both sides targeting civilians were atrocious. We get to claim some sort of moral authority because we won, but that's no excuse for doing some of the things we did to secure victory.

While you say this, you shake your pom poms for president 4-F's "Mother of All Bombs" being dropped on a village in Afghanistan. Your selective outrage seems to follow favoritism, and a choice to believe, over any actual reality. Duty to country has no choice. It either is, or it isn't. It's either courage, or cowardice. You've chosen the latter, to defend and feign 'respect' of. There is no shame in a person who ignores reality on that level. There is also no courage, no honor and no bravery. There is only an ignorance of actuality and a made up fantasy to defend the indefensible... cowardice.

Around 8 p.m. Afghan time, the United States had dropped a 21,600-pound, $16 million bomb on Asadkhel, a tiny village nestled between two forested hills, to attack a decades-old tunnel system that was being used by fighters claiming allegiance to the Iraq- and Syria-based Islamic State.

Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump barely mentioned Afghanistan during the long presidential campaign. Yet President Trump had chosen to use the most powerful non-nuclear weapon in the world on a remote Afghan village.

Afghanistan was simply a convenient landscape for the reality star turned president to unleash a startling, theatrical display of his might. A strange sense of unease enveloped me, despite the years of war and despite being a journalist, as I watched my country being featured as the dehumanized landscape where the biggest non-nuclear bomb had been exploded. “What gives them the right to use this type of weapon on us, or anywhere?” I asked my cousin.

I watched Nangarhar being highlighted on maps of Afghanistan as if it wasn’t home to more than 1.5 million people, as if everything human had instantly been eradicated by the sheer mention of this alpha and omega of military weaponry. News reports described Achin, the district closest to the bombed village, as nothing more than an area populated by Islamic State fighters.

The bomb had become “babao,” the monster that Afghan children were warned was lurking around the corner. It had swallowed up the people, the life from Achin. The civilians who had suffered three years of brutality under the Islamic State ceased to exist. They were inconsequential; what mattered were the terrorists, their caves and the great, big, scary bomb.

I went to bed that night sad with the knowledge that my homeland was still simply a staging ground for foreign nations to project their power. On Friday morning I woke up to find Kabul had chosen to stay quiet and not protest the decision to explode “Madar-e Bamb-Ha,” the Dari translation for “mother of all bombs” Afghans began using.

I'm not going to criticize the coward for shitting his pants because he is too big of a ***** to fight for his country.

What I am going to criticize the guy for, and nutjob Palin, is for being a complete moron, saying stupid **** and showing absolutely no class, dignity and respect for others in their behavior.

Not only is the picture unseemly but so is the entire practice, engaged in by both sides when they're in the WH, of inviting their friends and supporters to come to the WH as if it is territory won in war for the powerful people on the winning side to hang out in. It's passed off as being okay because it's "the peoples house" but of course it's only the famous and powerful with connections that get to go there. If it's truly the peoples house then randomly choose some people from across the country and give them the access.

I'm the one laughing at your girlish behavior...

166 days now...

it's time to move on...

If he's anything like the liberals that I deal with on the interwebs and IRL, I don't think he's capable of moving on.

Looks like, to me, that there are three individuals that seem to not let the election go either........why pose in front of a portrait of the former First Lady?

Looks like Kid Rock was just in front of the portrait, with Palin and Nugent doing the symbolic gestures. Perhaps if Palin paid attention to her family life like she does politics, her daughter wouldn't have ended up pregnant at 17 and struggling through custody procedures........

And I love how Nugent blasts Crosby for his comments, referring to his past drug and alcohol problems. Talking about how much weed he's (Crosby) has smoked and such......and pretty sure, if he looks over his shoulder at Kid Rock, he'd understand how hypocritical those statements are......[roll]

it's just a picture...

you're reading too much into it...

letitgo...

Let it go? I have.....trust me, I'm not a Hillary fan/supporter at all.

However, it appears as if three individuals (perhaps just two....Kid Rock looks like he's not sure about it) haven't "let it go" yet. Why didn't they pose in front of Ronald Reagan?

LOL...Sure you have. Ever tried being honest

I haven't?

Go back, prove I haven't.....

1. How many posts have I had since the election?
2. In my posts, how many before/after were pro-Hillary? (I'll answer that, NONE!)
3. How many times have I said that I have AGREED with some of Trump's agenda????

I know it don't fit your agenda of throwing **** and seeing it stick to the wall, but I have never nor never will support Hillary for president. I never have/never will say she lost other than a democratic way. Do I like Trump? Nope. But you guys hated Obama from the beginning......

Apparently not as long as you Know-Nothings need to recover from the fact that a half-Black man with a funny name won twice, since you're still on about it ...

False accusations and lies are all they know. It's the reason they support the trash that's ruining our country. They're cut from the same mold as ***** His Pants and Bone Spur.

I never hated President Obama....I may have disagreed with his policies....but I always treated him AND his family with the respect due because he was elected our President. You NEVER saw me refer to him/they in any disrespectful manner. You attack anything conservative as shown by you Palin,Kid Rock and Nugent comments.
Why did it bother you that they posed in front of Hillarys portrait?

Why did it NOT bother you?

And have I referred to Trump other than President Trump or just Trump? Have I called him names? Again, find the evidence that I have and show me. I don't think you will.

I do not agree with some of his policies, and I definitely disapprove of his ACTIONS as president. He doesn't act very "presidential".
