I think if it's not end of day today, it will be a while. Sounds like it's not Schiano at this point? He would be the only coach that would have been vetted that quickly.

The ''U'' announces their decision tomorrow...3pm....if its Butch Davis...very soon after if GS comes back...i hear its between them.

I think we start hearing more rumors after the Miami hire is done and our announcement comes the day after Miami. Seems like we're gonna get the leftover from Miami.

We have recruits visiting next weekend (12/11) so id guess they'd like a coach in place by next Tuesday.

Miami has interviewed Dan Mullen, Butch Davis, and Greg Schiano, and will interview Mark Richt today. Seems like they could make a decision asfter all that, so it's one domino to fall. I would think UVa would also be in play for Schiano, who apparently also interviewed at UCF. His name is connected to so many searches...
Lets hope that AD we got from the Hall is off to a great start/FB signature hire.
I am not up on all of the recruiting regulations, but isn't there a dead period starting on 12/15? If so, I think we would want someone in place with enough time to hit the recruiting trail a little before the 15th. I agree not to rush it, especially if there is an even 1% chance of landing Richt, but I would think we would know by the end of this week.
