Been here in Anna Maria Island for almost two weeks now. Will be driving up on the 30th. You boys know it's going to be great football weather Saturday. 55 Deg for a high. Not so good for those that wanna check out the beaches.

I got to break the surprise today to my father and brother that I bought us tickets/hotel in Jacksonville.

We're heading down on the 30th. Can't wait.
Going down on Friday and staying in Brunswick, GA! Then, driving into Jacksonville on Saturday morning just in time for the Catwalk with my buds!

Great place.

Dads compny had a private condo building and grew up going there. Stayed a week for the outback bowl. They just sold it, unfortunately.

This is our plan as well, except for leaving Wednesday night. Hope to get to Asheville or ideally Spartanburg then roll in to Jax early afternoon on Thursday.

Well it is Monday morning, day after Christmas and I am counting down the days. This may be the best bowl venue we have had in over 50 years. Jacksonville is much better than Tampa (Outback Bowl) for fan enjoyment and things to do around the stadium. By Friday, Jacksonville will be a Sea of Blue, there is no doubt in my mind that will happen. See you there with smiling faces. We are Bowl Bound. I love the sound of that.

Bell is one of two towns in Gilchrist County, one of the smallest in Florida in area and population at just over 16,000. The whole county is essentially farming & ranching. Bell is a nice little town located about 45 minutes west of Gainesville and about 2-1/2 hour drive to Jacksonville. Lots of natural springs & rivers in an area with the most 1st-magnitude springs in the world. Great snorkeling, diving, canoeing & kayaking. And, yes, the "Real Florida".

I'm not diving into any body of standing water in Florida. I'm not looking to get eaten.
