The big wing-ding is Thursday July 17. Doors open at 5:30 pm with the program starting at around 7:00 pm. Byrne, Cohen, Stans, and Fanning will speak along with interim president David Watson. Good time to show your support.

I got something in the mail.

Just checked my email, I had something about it. Shows Dr. Watson, Byrne, Fanning, Croom, Stans, Cohen.
So pretty much everyone of interest even if you like the tittiedawgs.

the tennis tournament is always the weekend before the extravaganza.

I was replying in Six-Pack-arsehole fashion. I assumed it was well known that it was Thursday. I even wrote it in my initial reply, though it was written virally.</p>

I can't remember the last time we had a good womens basketball team. Even when they had the girl that got picked number 1 overall for the WNBA the team still sucked. Does she have dirt on someone because her winning percentange has gotta be pretty bad!

because no one gives a **** about women's basketball, and quite frankly if they were good, I still probably wouldn't go to any games.

If they hire Van Chancellor, I would go to maybe one game.

Our women's basketball is an example of what would happen at MSU if no one cared about sports.

The other thing about Fanning is that she actually is our most successful women's basketball coach. Our titty basketball history is dreadful. I'm not saying that we couldn't do better or that she shouldn't be fired, but in the simple mind of LT, I could see where he would say something like "she's the best we've ever had, why fire her?"

I don't know how Byrne will react, I think if enough fans think that we could do better, and that's expressed to him, I'm sure he would at least consider a change. But, from my perspective, if we fire her, we need to make a real commitment to being good, and that is going to require fans to at least show up at the games. And to be honest, I'm not real sure that we have enough fans that are willing to make that commitment. Yes, winning will help, but it's going to take a lot of marketing and promoting to if we want to be a serious contender in the SEC. I'm just not sure that I can see that happening.

One was UT in the hump and I honestly can't remember what the other one or two games were. I would like to have a winning team but I really won't put in the effort as a fan to do that. If a game would decide if they would win the SEC championship I might go but I really doubt it. My wife doesn't even like to watch women's basketball and she won a state title in bball in high school.

The money lost by both is miniscule compared to the money lost in lawsuits filed by Feminazi lawyers if you were to shut down both programs.
