I'm not talking about a season. One game where the QB for deal ol' State put up numbers that you see on a weekly basis from the Tebows and Bradfords.

Wesley Carroll had a good game at Arkansas in '07, but he threw four interceptions. I'm looking for a 22-for-28, 300 yards and 3 TD type game. I can't remember one in my MSU fandom ('96-present)

atBYU? Or was that all defense? I know Morgan returned a fumble return for 99 yards but I was thinking Madkin's stats looked good too b/c some short screen passes went for big gains.

where both teams were known for their running game and no rushing TDs were scored, but 9 passing ones were. I was there. It was crazy.

games. In fact Shell was probably the best passing QB that I've actually personally seen play at MSU. His only problem was that the team around him was awful especially on defense. I remember games we lost during that time frame like 53-35 to Alabama and 42-35 to Georgia. Marler was probably better but he was before my time of watching games.

and then the next week against BYU. For a couple of weeks, Fant looked better than Eli. I thought we were going to have some epic QB showdowns between those two. I still feel bad for Fant because of the crappy team and situation around him.

Also that may explain why I'm gunshy about Relf this year.

Taite in 1994 had a 4 TD game with 466 yards passing against Tulane. They dared us to pass- and we did. That was when we had Davis and Bouie and that ginormous o-line, and that was one year after we had three 100 yard rushers against them the year before- Davis, Bouie, and Karl Williamson I think. I think we beat them 66-22 or something that day.

He ran the fark out of the ball that day. He had respectable passing numbers, but his running was phenomenal. And our defense got 3 touchdowns that day. We didn't have the ball all that much because our defense played so well.

This was during the Felker years and yes we sucked, but...

I was at the game and Shell threw a bunch of long *** bombs and ended up with a **** ton of yards that day. Can't remember exactly how much he threw for...I want to say around 470 yds??? Oh and we lost (of course) but not by much.

I want to say it was during the 1988 season, but I am too lazy to google the correct season or Shell's yardage.
