Hope we get Dave Whitney and Alcorn A&M in the first round.
Then maybe a second round against Mississippi Southern.
Yay us!

[skydawg1]

I would love for us to win the NIT.

They won the SWAC, and I bet they'll either play us or Ole Miss.

[rugbdawg]

are going to be on the opposite side of the bracket. As we all know, we would lose that third game against them. It is the Msstate way.

[klong17]

or now we can say Kentucky style. 17!!!!!!!!!!

[Todd4State]

You know Shepherd Smith will be there.

[MSUCostanza]

NIT put that rule in a few years ago. Regular season conference winners not in the NCAA get automatically invited to the NIT, which is a good rule.

I am pretty certain either us or Ole Miss will host JSU.

[SirBarksalot]

And..

Consensus here in Charlotte, as far as I can tell, is that they do not want Carolina to accept an NIT bid. Besides, why do we want to play them?

[SirBarksalot]

No one really cares other than a few people from each school participating.

[blailock]

dumbass!!!!

[mstateglfr]

Hell yeah i care. Its a chance to watch the team play more against solid competition. Damn man, the teams in the NIT are all in the top 100 in the country, and many are in the top 50.
