I guess we'll see what Trump does about this. He needs to do something or the finger pointer in chief has certainly got some nerve to blame BO for the recent gas attack.

"Today's chemical attack in Syria against innocent people, including women and children, is reprehensible and cannot be ignored by the civilized world," said President Trump in a
statement. "The United States stands with our allies across the globe to condemn this intolerable attack."
But beyond condemning the attack, what will he do? The Trump statement placed blame on the Obama White House, stating that these "heinous actions by the Bashar al-Assad regime are a consequence of the past administration's weakness and irresolution."

He doesn't have "some nerve", in this instance he has common sense. WTF did you think would happen when your boy didn't do anything last time after drawing his "red line" in the sand?

It's called cause and effect. This is the effect of BO not doing something when he should have. Now we have a world refugee problem and a half a million people dead because he didn't back up his alligator mouth with his canary ***.

Your boy led from behind allowing Russian forces into Syria. How much more does that complicate the situation?

lol So BO caused the war in Syria? thanks for your keen analysis on this one. Like I said, Trump needs to put up or shut up.

Newsflash to the whackos. Obama is no longer in office. This attack happened with America having an incompetent baffoon in office. Ball is in his court. What is he going to do? Let's hope it isn't stupid like everything else he has done and you nuts have made excuse after excuse for him.

From the "duh" category, moe speaks.

Russia didn't join in until after we failed to do anything significant to deal with the problem.
Russia has a military base there and they've (as the former Soviet Union and to today) been allies for decades. I provide links to info but I can't make you open and read them. From the provided link.... In 1971, under an agreement with President Hafez al-Assad, the Soviet Union was allowed to open its naval military base in Tartus,[4][5] a facility the former Soviet republic continues to use to this day. On 8 October 1980, Syria and the Soviet Union signed a Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation.[6] The treaty runs for twenty years and has automatic five-year extensions, unless one of the parties terminates the agreement. It provides for regular consultations on bilateral and multilateral issues of interest, coordination of responses in the event of a crisis, and military cooperation.[7] The treaty remains in force to this day.[8] In January 1992, the Syrian government recognized the Russian Federation as the legal successor to the Soviet Union.

All totally irrelevant to the situation

Russia moved in a lot of planes and men after we failed to do anything.

Ok, you're an idiot. I've done all I can for you. Back to my original point, Trump can't criticize BO if he's going to sit on his hands himself. We'll see what he does.

He's an idiot. I am using the standards to judge him set by fans of the last administration, including you.
You claim his is an idiot but then you make excuses for his actions. That makes you a bigger idiot which os nothing new

Quote me where I have defended Trump once in this thread. Hint: you won't find it.
Quote me in 8 years of me saying i supported Obama. Hint: you won't find it.

Fact is you are supportive of his policies and post often about it. Another fact is you are making excuses for his actions on wanting to deflect the Russian story to a leak issue. Now go eat ****.

I am supportive of most of his policies. He just goes about it all wrong.

I don't excuse his actions. You will never see me speak out supporting his tweeting and crap.

I'm not deflecting at all. There is a Russia meddling story. There is a leak story. There is not a Russian/Trump collusion story, which is what the media and this board focus on.

Can't Obama have been way, way wrong on Syria and the ball still be in Trump's court? He is POTUS. I think we should hold him to a little more than a statement blaming Obama.

"The buck stops here......"

Granted, Obama may have screwed the pooch on Syria (hindsight is 20/20 but the red line comment was incredibly stupid if you're not going to back it up), but Trump's job is now to try and fix that mess the best he can, and he can't do it from Twitter.

It wasn't that long ago that Susan Rice told us all that Syria had turned over all their WMDs....what happened?

If you believe the Syrians, their bombs merely hit a WMD manufacturing/storage facility maintained by the rebels.

He said he knew how ... that it would be incredibly easy ... that he had a plan ... but wasn't going to tell anybody his plan because you don't want to let the enemy know what you're doing.

He promised.

"I have plans, I am highly educated, I know the best plans"

It's almost like we can't believe anything he says and his promises are meaningless. I, for one, am shocked and dismayed

Really? Here's what your buttboy said about it at the time, and his policy hasn't changed, except that he was for Obama's Syria policy until it was politically convenient for him to oppose it. Read it and weep -- facts are bothersome things.

This is Biff's go-to play on first down. Blame Obama. Of course, we all know second down is blame the press and third down is 'he was missrepresented'.

What am I weeping about? I'm posting my opinions on it. I don't care what Trump said or did or thought. It's irrelevant. BO fvcked the dog 5 years ago, and if Trump doesn't do something now, he'll be fvcking the dog as well. It's inexcusable Assad is allowed to do this.

Kill him or capture him. Once he's captured, try him and then kill him.
