I feel like I'm only halfway through the first mile of a marathon. That's the only way I can describe it.

...why so many people enjoy his stuff. He's a terrible writer. He loves taking 20 words to say what he could write in five. His rambling, stream-of-consciousness crap is tough to follow. I'll be halfway through a paragraph and completely get lost in what he's trying to say.

They grew up on him and are used to his writing so they like it.

Yeah, I read it too and have no clue if there was a useful nugget in there at all

polishing a turd. That guy can wax poetic and long-winded about any MSU loss. And there's always a bright side. I guess that's mainly because he's marketing to the Gene's page audience.

Nothing wrong with Murray talking up State. Every school in the country has a guy like Murray that reports exclusively on that school and is a complete homer. Difference in State and other schools, other schools have the local paper, TV, and so on. State only has Murray. The school needs a positive mouthpiece.

On Murray, I will say this. You may not like his writing style. However, he does a good job on the pre-pre-game radio show with Wyatt. He is informative, to the point, and has a good radio voice. Without Murray, that thing would be unlistenable.
