With many teams at the CWS having their bats removed due to dings, etc., I was wondering if bats should be checked at the beginning and during the regionals? Not saying anyone is doing anything wrong and if bats were to be helping teams, why should the tournament officials not check them at times during the regionals and not wait until someone makes it to omaha. Before you say that there is a cost, no, all teams get their share of bats.
Again, I am quite sure no one is doing anything illegal and not crying any spilt milk; but I was just wondering everyone's thoughts. There may already be a rule in place.
