When was the last time that a significant signee for us didn't qualify?

maybe I'm just not paying close attention, but it seems like it's been years since we've lost a major recruit due to grades

The follow up to that, of course, is...Are Mullen and Co justrecruiting the right type of guys or are they the best staff we've ever had at getting kids "qualified". For astate that's so widely known forits pitiful education system, it sure hasn't shown lately. </p>

I could care less about stars. I've watched Cox play since he was a sophomore in high school and I knew he could be a really good player for us if he developed. He wasn't a player that had these great fundamentals and had a chance to start from day 1. He had speed and athleticism and that's why we offered him. He wasn't like Redmond where he played DB every game. <div>

I seriously doubt Cox goes to Bama, but if he does, it's not like the cupboard is dry. We have plenty of talent in our defensive backfield with Redmond, Love, Calhoun and Jiles. We have a lot of talent that's waiting to get on the field. The Croom days are over....</span></div>
