When/who will draft Dixon? Where will he be a good fit?

Miami. Ronnie Brown, who is in his contract year, cannot get through a whole season and Ricky only has two more years, at most.

San Diego Would Be a good fit... Sproles is a FA And LT Is INjury Proned... I Also Think Cleveland Would Be A Good Fit With Jamal Lewis Getting Older And Dixon Being Just Like Him...

Some publications are already forcasting it. Should that be the case, He will go within the first two rounds- I'm guessing late first or early second. And should that be true- you've got to look at the elite teams and see who's in need of an everydown back.

Jamal Lewis has already said this is his last year, he's retiring.

LT and the Chargers are going to split more than likely. Even discussed in an article on ESPN this morning talking about how good he is at the goal line.

right now that'd be in the middle of the 1st round, assuming he does well in the combine.

how fast is he? I sometimes think speed is overrated with RBs that can run over or make people miss. 5.4ypc in the SEC is pretty damn good.

So, whatever team with a 49ers type offense. I don't keep up with pro offenses much though. Along the same lines, McCluster reminds me of Chris Johnson.

That would be the perfect combo with Sproles. I love LT, and I still don't think he is done (I think the line sucks), but I am not sure he will be in San Diego next year. They are definitely targeting a big back. Looking at Tate, Scott, Gerhart, Dixon, Dwyer. Knowing the current chargers administration, they will probably reach in the first round for a back like Dwyer or continue with the LSU love and take Scott (they took Buster Davis and Hester previously) and I will come away pissed.

My dream scenario is Dixon going to San Diego in the 2nd. Hopefully they can pick up an OL or DL in the 1st.

I have a sick feeling daddy Crooms will lobby the rams to pick him up and he will be lost in obscurity forever-hope I'm wrong.

It's hard to gauge speed in college sometimes just because of the athletic level. One plus he has is his good hands. He can catch the ball out of the backfield rather easily.

a dream come true. He'd fit in well there compared to the backs the have as well.

And it would be a blast to see the Norwood/Dixon matchup twice a year

although he's been less than spectacular there. Pitt has kind of a ****** to average o-line, I want to see what Dixon can do behind a good NFL line.

I think Chicago or Seattle are big possibilities and he'd do well at both.

If the Rams take Dixon allowing Croom to ruin his NFL career, I may personally hunt the man down. It is nothing short of amazing that the alleged NFL running backs "expert" did jack **** with Anthony Dixon for 3 seasons. Then Mullen gets him for one year and turns him into a possible 1st Round talent. I continue to believe that any success MSU of NFL running backs had while Croom was around was in spite of him, not because of him.

I think Chargers late/mid second round. I just hope he doesn't get picked by a bad team early in the second.......like the Chiefs or Rams. Ugghhh

I can only dare to dream what he might have done in an adequate system for his whole career. This year alone he eclipsed his previous season record (2007-13 games) by 200+ yards in only 11 games. If crooms steals this kid from a decent (read any other) program he will be a perfect 12 point standing in a green field at 9 a.m. Bang.

And I agree with an earlier post-I would love to see him land in the Saints program. I think he would be a superstar in that system.
