If we decided to pitch up throughout the season, I don't think we'd make it to Omaha. Too many hitters parks in the sec. It would work in the sec tourney and obviously in Omaha, but I don't think we could win enough regular season games in sec to be national seed. NCAA will change ball and that will probably really hurt the ucla approach

I think the UCLA blueprint he was referring to was that they were the CWS runner up in 2010. Thus, since we were runner up in 2013 we should get a title in 2016.

If we hit like we did in the post season then we would damn sure will be a national seed. The bats were cold all year and only cranked up during OOC play and crunch-time.

My two bits, we really are back. Losing some great players, but everyone else now knows it can and will be accomplished. I heard Butch Thompson at an alumni meeting in Amory several years ago and he showed a picture of the national championship ring we would win. Honestly, I wasn't buying it. After seeing this year's run, I am.

13 seasons versus 5...logically at least 8 seasons before Bianco when you take into account total tenure. Before us, period. Good run by you dawgs and ya'll were fun to watch. I was torn...I like my MSU friends a lot, but didn't want to hear about it if ya'll won....so I was in the middle. Didn't want UCLA to win...Its a tough situation that I hope several of you would be in if the roles were reversed
