When will SEC/ESPN announce the time slot for Week 5 against Tennessee?

Anybody know when to expect them to release the time for that game? Trying to decide if I'm gonna bring my wife and 4 month old. If it's too early, won't bring because of the heat, if it's too late won't bring because of bedtime. Kind of a lose-lose for me unless we get the 2:30/3pm slate

That's what I'm thinking, Tennessee not being 4-0 will also hurt our chances of a better timeslot

I actually think we may benefit from being a little bit down the pecking order.

Georgia-Bama is already slated for a night game. Going head to head against Oregon-Penn State on NBC.

I think the next two biggest games (LSU-OM and Auburn-A&M) will get afternoon kickoffs as to not go against the other two huge games.

Because of that, I could see us getting a night time kick out of it because they aren’t really worried about State vs Tennessee getting huge viewers and don’t mind letting us get eaten by Georgia-Bama in terms of viewership.

I think we will know today. There's a lot of good games that day too.
The teams are notified first early on Monday a.m. so they won't be blindsided. Then the networks announce sometime right after 10:00 a.m. but there is really no set time.

ESPN says it’s either a 2:30-3:30 pm start or a 5-7 pm start.

ND vs Arkansas will be the 11 am ABC game.
Bama vs Georgia will be the 6:30 pm ABC game.

That leaves the 2:30 pm ABC slot open. Right now, that will probably be one of these:
Auburn vs A&M (afternoon)
Ole Miss vs LSU (afternoon or evening)
State vs Tennessee (afternoon or evening)

One of the others will likely get the 2:30 pm ESPN slot and the other will get the 6:30 pm ESPN slot.

Auburn vs A&M is locked into the 2:30 slot, so it’s just a matter of which network for them.

ESPN, ESPN 2, ESPN U, and the SEC Network currently have nothing scheduled for 2:30 pm or 6:30 pm that day.

Other SEC games that day:
Vandy vs Utah State at 11:45 am on SEC Network
Kentucky vs South Carolina (afternoon or evening game)
Mizzou vs UMass (evening game)

Gonna go out on a limb and say all 3 of those are SECN/SECN+ games.

Welp we must really pull $h*t tv ratings. If we are going to be placed on sectv, I would have preferred 6pm. But at least it isn't 11am.

I kinda like the 3:15 slot.
Not too early, still plenty of time for students to recover from Friday night and be in the stadium ready to go and not too late either.
