Where are you anytime other than when something the least bit negative is happening?

yall remember back in the day when mullen was regarded as some kind of offensive wizard?...yeah, turns out alex smith and tim tebow make any college team look good. its a different story when tyson lee is attempting the jump pass.

Or at least recruit for us

Therein lies the problem. Mullen can't recruit the high school athletes we need to be successful. I don't know if someone else could do any better or not-maybe not. Sherrill won by recruiting good JC athletes. Probably would be wise to give it a go again.

I''ll be your huckleberry.................

You are probably one of those two coaching idiots sitting around me tonight. Mullen made a couple of questionable calls tonite but for the most part called a good offensive game. He jumped Autry's *** good over that stupid personal foul near the end of the game. Our secondary is in need of experience and better players. But overall, I give Mullen a C . No wonder you're single............

Hahaha.

It really is hilarious the sheep on here. When our offense has an "explosion" it is the defense's fault. And..."Mullen called a good game." Forget the defense and special teams. The head coach, Mullen, did his job.

As to your personal shot, I have a beautiful wife and a toddler. Go ahead and suck the dicks you can find tonight.

How are you putting this loss so squarely on Mullen? I mean, I understand you have a vendetta against every Mississippi State coach, but we were standing toe to toe with the number 10 team in the nation through 3 quarters. They then scored the first play of the 4th. We throw a pick and they score again quickly. We drive down the field but get held at the 30, then they drive down and score again. We then fumble an option and give them yet another short field. I just don't see how people are gnashing their teeth at Mullen for this loss, when we played a phenomenal game (offensively and special teams other than the field goal miss) until Dak threw the pick. That put the game at 19, and in reality it was over. The final score was in no way shape or form indicative of that game, and the people complaining about a blowout really don't give a crap about how the actual game was played.

By the way, LSU averages 45.5 points per game and over 475 yards per game. That is also playing TCU, Auburn, and Georgia. You are absolutely nuts if you expected us to keep this a low scoring game.

So don't come back with your sarcastic BS. I seriously want to know what should have been done differently in this game according to you?

You asked for a Mullen defender and you got one. You said nothing about special teams and defense. DL and LB played well with 2 plays they screwed up and allowed long runs for TDs. Secondary did not play well and needs help. What explosion are you talking about? I'm not a blind Mullen follower but I will give credit where it's due and for the most part Mullen did do his job tonight. Some of his players and coaches did not. That's something he has to correct. It falls to him.

Proud for your beautiful family. Brings a tear to a glass eye. You are still a whining dickhead. If that is too personal, bugger off.

i agree. we need to focus on getting the cream of the crop from the juco ranks. mcphee, ballard, white, langston, slay (kinda), autry....just some from our juco ranks....that well is drying up as of late.

The thing is Rugb is gonna have to be silent from March to June so expect a lot of this until the last shot is attempted by Craig Sword and the first ball is picked by Rea in the first for a inning ending double play. Sure he'll get some shots in when we are down 2-0 in the third inning. But when we score that go ahead run in the eighth, crickets.

I'll defend him. I pointed out this is our best team since 2010, and probably our 2nd best team in 15 years. This is our best depth in 15 years. Our offenses is as good as it's been under Mullen, and I think our D is pretty good.

Gotta beat Arkansas & OM to go to a well deserved bowl game. I think we can hang with South Car too.

The recruiting problem at State would remain the same regardless of the coaching staff....that includes Hudspeth. I don't have the initiative to provide the laundry list of reasons but they're there and are legitimate.

Not nearly ready to throw in the towel on him

Like I've said a few time, wait till next year, (and I mean it).

The Kang had several losing seasons, not counting those at the end.

The last time I saw them they were about 20 yards from Beckham.

Agree w/ above quote. Mullen gets us to 6-6 or 7-5, I'll consider the year a success. I think we are going to give BAMA a scare here in Starkville. I think our DBs will better match BAMA's WRs then LSU's two NFL studs last night.

To get a recruiting base like LSU, BAMA, or Florida would require somebody like Nick Saban or Urban Meyer, but those type of people don't come to Starkville or if they did, they won't stay very long. Mullen is going to eventually hit the home run on recruiting, specifically at the QB position (ex. Cord Sandberg was a commit but went pro-ball). Dak is solid, but I think Mullen will land us a Tebow/Scam Newton/Manziel caliber quarterback. The man has taken us to 3 consecutive bowl games, and we have legitimate shot (BG, KY, Ark, OM, maybe SCAR W's) at going to the "bottom feeder" bowl in birmingham this year. For all those who want Mullen gone, look at the history of MState football and even the history of college football in the state of MS. Do you really want to fire a coach who has winning seasons and takes a team to a bowl game just about every year (ask Ole Miss- David Cutcliffe, USM- Jeff Bower)?
