...the same ******* whose life's mission is to use a messageboard to turn people against Rick Stansbury is running this ****?

I got frustrated with Cohen last year, but I've always advocated hiring Cohen.

In the past couple of days, I've posted more than once that Cohen will have MSU baseball back to where it should be by next year. Since you are on this board 24/7, I'm surprised you missed it.

Grow up you little ***** & get a life (a life outside of acting like a prick on a sports messageboard, should I say).

...As a general rule, I only get flack from those sixpack retards that have meaningless, stupid gifs as signatures.

God forbid the board monitors tell you idiots to drop gifs as signatures, since they impede the download of threads.

Maybe you & South Panola Dawg can get together & swap gay gif stories.

you were the dumbass that raised all kinds of hell last year about Cohen...and your boyfriend Blew talking about how he left Kentucky in shambles

Just because you make a post this year about him doing something positive doesnt erase last season's dumb comments...but considering that's all you post, i'm not surprised

...allows 2 more sweeps.

Cohen wasn't hired to conduct a Croom-esque 10 year re-building program.

He was hired to work a quick turnaround like he did @ UK.

This baseball team is bad, but they are not 3-sweeps-in-one-season bad.

One more sweep is a red flag.

Two more sweeps & you'll have to begin questioning the hiring of Cohen.

By 2011 MSU baseball will be back. Cohen was hired to work a quick turnaround like he did @UK, & he has.

Last year's baseball team was bad, but they were not 3-sweeps-in-one-season bad (I think Cohen could have done better there, but's it's now ancient history).

Way to go guy @ Auburn, you've put your sterling Auburn education to excellent use.

You & your buddy coach34 have dragged up a bunch of past ******** that means nothing.

...you do nothing but use your worthless life trying to destroy Rick Stanbury's career.

They you accuse somebody who was excited about the hiring of Cohen as somebody who hates Cohen.

You are f*cked in the head, & need help.

I didn't realize Cohen had arrived after getting us to 4-0 w/ 2 comeback wins in the 9th over URI and UAB.

I guess that means we're back?

That's the thing w/ most of you guys, you overreact to a few wins and losses in sports where we play 35+ games. If we had lost to URI in the first game and to UAB tonight, people would be freaking out.

believing we are the "retards." However, 100% of this board thinks you're off on 100% of what you say. Do you not see this? What happened to your self-imposed ban? Everyone wishes you would go back on it.

I played golf with some guys on last year's team who graduated last May. They said that they fully believed Cohen would do great things at Mississippi State, but they didn't think he really tried to make the most out of last season. I kind of agree with them there. Here's a team that can take 2 of 3 from Mississippi in Oxford, and look really good doing it, but looked listless in many other games. Guys being asked to go first to third who have absolutely no business going first to third and getting thrown out, hitting Powers fifth and Deloach third, basically refusing to use Duffy or Freeman at the beginning of the year, when they were two of the few guys with any power at all outside of Powers. Just a lot of little things like that. Part of it was probably not wanting to have any hangover from Polk whatsoever, no accusations that he could only do it with Polk's players. Part of it was probably wanting to instill his style fully.<div>In the end, I think we've come out of that just fine. Cohen is gonna have us back in the thick of things, sonner rather than later.

Yeah I do but accidently put it for all pics on this board. I just have not taken the time to change it.... it is funny if you think about it.

didn't realize how bad our pitching was. We would have been just as well forfeiting our Sunday games or whatever SEC games Routt and Whitney didn't pitch in. It was painful.

And yes, with Ricky Bowen shitting all over himself, we were three sweeps in the SEC bad.

it was a year to establish things for Cohen.

I think what ultimately happened is the team was playing hard at the beginning of the year, winning a few games over some lesser oponnents, then they get to SEC play and the pitching couldn't hold up. Cohen calls them out for sucking, and then rumors about guys getting cut en masse started flying. That caused a lot of dissention on the team- which was not helped by Polk's anti-Cohen stance the year before- and also some of the fans started to get upset because he was calling MSU players out. Bless their hearts.

I think they quit. Bottom line.

But I think as far as Ole Miss, I think they wanted to beat them because they are Ole Miss. And I don't know that they looked all that great- it was a miracle that Jared Wesson got that pich over for a strike. A win is a win, and I'll take it.

I do think that we probably could have done better short term, but I agree that I don't know that it would have been better long term.
