This team will get better. We had Kodi, Sidney, and Riek all in street clothes tonight. Granted Sidney may never play for us, but Kodi has 1 more game to sit and Riek has 7 left to sit.
but this team has looked far from being what we're all hoping they will be this season. We have a long way to go...
It was a pretty good looking performance. They let up a lot in the second half, running clock. Chemistry on the court looked a lot better with our starting 4 from last season, though. If Randy can ever get his shot from beyond the arc to fall, and once we get all our players I feel this team will be pretty good.
Even at reduced strength we should have beat them by at least twice that, and that's WITH us letting up in the 2nd half. Except that we didn't let up in the 2nd half. The biggest lead we had the whole damn game was 18, and that was only for 13 seconds.
We shot 45% overall and 40% from 3, did not foul. Yes, they turned it over a lot, but that isn't going to happen every game.
This is not the NBA, we are not going to be playing great basketball from the get-go. The loss to Rider was bad, just try to enjoy a good decisive win.

Besides, I heard we only had 3 scholarship players dress out and Rick had to suit up Meo and the kids.
We played better defense and looked a lot more calm offensively tonight.
