HERE I AM!!!!

All is well!!! Sorry that I haven't posted the brackets yet this season, guys and gals. I've been lurking, but admittedly, I've been slacking. I went to a couple games early in the year. Then I had a nice long vacation with the wife to Charleston and Savannah. We hit the ND/Georgia game at the end of our trip. I also went to the NW/Wisconsin "weird uni" game the following week.

All that fun caused me to neglect high school football. I haven't played Beat Edgy all year. I've only seen Palatine play once. Haven't seen Montini yet, and they are 4 blocks away. Same goes for EP and Guerin. I have 12 episodes of High School Lites unwatched on the DVR. Brutal! I feel shame, for sure.

Time for me to jump back in! I'm off work Friday, so I'll do this week's "If The Playoffs" late Thursday night or Friday morning. I'm going to the Batavia game this week for as long as wifey can stand the plummeting temps. I'll watch those HSL eps too. Then Monday night, I'll crank out the next version of my phony brackets. Two big posts coming in the next 5 days.

Great to have you back! Did you see the Big Oak tree when you were in Georgia?

We did not see the Big Oak tree. We saw the Boulevard of Oaks at Boone Plantation in Charleston. And then we saw the Angel Oak between Charleston and Savannah. By the time we got to Georgia, we were all oaked out.

NP Catch. You mean their is life other than Illinois HS football? Lol
Happy your back and glad you had a great vacation with the wife. Sounds like you did a good job at prioritizing what really important and that’s family.
