I would love that. But it sure feels like the natural spot for 2nd seeded Duke at East Carolina. I’m kind of thinking we end up in Raleigh or Stillwater.
I don't see that as a punishment at all. Of all 16 hosts, I think that's the most likely host for us to beat, AND I think the committee will have them a little higher seeded, like 11-13 range, so when we do win, we won't get quite as hard of a matchup in the Supers.
My prediction of Santa Barbara was just wishful thinking.
Good point. I have a bad feeling we get sent to an ACC or Big XII site, which would be tough.
San Diego also seems like a natural 2-seed for Santa Barbara. UC Irvine could be the 2-seed in Tuscon.
