Where has Coach34 been?

surgery the last couple of days...all I know is:
1. Byrne has an open checkbook
2. Petersen isnt out of it yet
3. Multiple sources think its Graham and its staying locked down till after their game...but they said they cant be sure at all yet
4. Tommy Tooberville wasnt considered for even one second

in your opinion would you rather have Graham or Petersen and why? Do you think ultimately we'll get Petersen?

...and a host of others. Would not/does not excite me in the least bit. But I'll be there regardless.
(all I do in surgery is write down what the surgeon uses and then charge the hospital for using our products...not a tough gig)
Petersen- I would prefer him because I want an offensive-minded head coach because thats how I think. A good DC is alot easier to find than a good offensive mind in my arrogant opinion. He has maintained and even grown Boise's program since he took over. Plus, you really cant underestimate the power of working with a good friend. 2 very good minds thinking in sync to achieve common goals would be the best thing we could hope for in our program.
Graham- anybody that can get Rice in a bowl game in one season is good enough to be our coach. Tulsa has nowhere near our recruiting base, hell they even get Oklahoma St leftovers, but they win. Would be a great choice for us, plus he likes an open offense. Another great hire possibly.
We are in a win-win right now...especially if you add Wilson at OU to that mix- any of the 3 is a HR for our program

One thing that really turns me off about him is that he seems to see himself as some sort of evangelist to his players. He wouldn't be a bad hire, but I really just don't have that good warm fuzzy feeling about him.

i'm not so sure Graham isnt being leaked out there just to throw people off...I applaud Byrne, this has been great to this point...

I know I always feel like I just got screwed after every doctor's visit. This just confirms that I literally did.

While Petersen is my number one choice I just had to point out that the Croom-Woody friendship didn't really work out in our favor.
I hope it would never come to it if Petersen were hired, but if things were to not work out it could make it harder on Byrne to get rid of him. So far I have a lot of faith in Byrne doing what it takes for us to move forward, just thought that was worth mentioning.
