Where should Dwight Howard go?

As a Laker fan, I hope he goes to Atlanta for two reasons: 1. The East sucks outside of the Heat 2. He is not cut out to be the face of the Laker franchise and I would rather see them free up a ton of cap space to go after free agents in 2014.

If I'm Dwight I'm going to Houston or Dallas. No state tax compared to Cali's 13%. Houston has talent with Harden, Lin, Parsons, Asik and Dwight should do well in that system.

I agree that Houston is the best for him personally. However, selfishly, I don't want to see the West get any tougher.

That

clown is ridiculous. It's a shame that someone with his mindset can make so much money.

Asik is on the market.

From Howard's point of view Houston has to look pretty enticing. They've got a lot of upside in their backcourt and Parsons gives you a push 4 similar to what he had in Anderson, which worked out really, really well for him in Orlando. He's said all along he wants to go to a big market and Houston is that, just hasn't been in a while. They're already a playoff team without Howard. I would imagine they'd move up the rankings pretty easily with him.

Definitely Houston if I'm Dwight. Now reports are saying Howard has talked Houston into going out trying to make a deal for Josh Smith. Both AAU buddies/teammates growing up in ATL. That would be a talented team.
1. Linn/Beverly
2. Harden
3. Parsons
4. J. Smith
5. Howard

That's a dangerous team but that's not a championship winning team with Lin at point. Lin is a quality backup or a starter for a losing team. If they could somehow add Rondo with Smith and Howard then I think that team can win a championship. I've been wondering why the hot names on the market don't just team up together like the big 3 did? Monta Ellis (I'm not convinced he can't play PG), Josh Smith, Dwight Howard and Rudy Gay. That's a nasty 4some.

With Harden, they don't need Lin to be a great PG. the offense runs through Harden more times than not, and his attacking would lead to some easy buckets for Howard.
