In watching the game last night it seems they really don't enjoy playing with each other. It may be an issue where both players think the ball should go through them on offense, but I don't see why they aren't doing high/low plays against 2-3 zones.
Just watching them interact on the court and coming off the court, it really appears they don't like each other.
The reason MSU lost is because Dee missed shots that he normally makes against Ole Miss, and overall the defensive effort from MSU wasn't up to MSU standards. The reason I know this is because we only turned it over 7 times, when we normally turn it over about 20+ a game.
Its just one game, and MSU is significantly better than Ole Miss, though I thought it was odd that Deville didn't get more playing time and that Moultrie and Hood weren't the focus of the offense. Moultrie and Hood shot it 18 times combined. Bost shot it 15 times. That to me, is why Ole Miss won. If MSU gets that corrected they will be just fine, the talent is there.
