was 51-47 and we have two straight possessions of garbage. Bryant penetrates and throws up a horrible shot and I think the next possession - we have a turnover or throw up a horrible shot. Buckner was on the bench then as well.

every time we got close, we would lose focus. UM did everything possible to gift wrap this game for us and we kept letting them off the hook.

That 2nd horrible shot was by Dee, and if I remember correctly Henry had fallen into the cheerleaders trying to get the rebound. We had 5 on 4 and Dee didn't even pass the ball. He went right down and jacked up a shot.

This team is a microcasm of a Croom team. Players on offense who are headed to The Leage, yet the team can't generate much offense. Fans long for an offensive-minded coach. Coach may get a reprieve due to a postseaon birth that may happen in spite of the coaching.

for a good shot on either of these possessions and cut it to 2 or get 2 good looks and tie it up, the last few minutes aren't a scramble Moultrie threw up an ugly *** 3 after these 2 possessions too. And Jalen.....he should never shoot inside the 3 point arc. I bet his 2 point shooting percentage is in the teens! It either gets blocked or he has to throw it so high to not be blocked he misses it. We did a good job working it down to the 4 pt deficit, then we like panicked and rushed everything. That is where our seniors need to step up and make sure we get good shots. Well, our seniors jacked up terrible shots and in the end that was the game.

That was the time we should have made a move but we played like crap the whole game. Our guard play was terrible and the bigs just got out worked by Buckner. We in no way deserved to win. It's over used but it fits for last night: They wanted it more than we did.

In watching the game last night it seems they really don't enjoy playing with each other. It may be an issue where both players think the ball should go through them on offense, but I don't see why they aren't doing high/low plays against 2-3 zones.

Just watching them interact on the court and coming off the court, it really appears they don't like each other.

The reason MSU lost is because Dee missed shots that he normally makes against Ole Miss, and overall the defensive effort from MSU wasn't up to MSU standards. The reason I know this is because we only turned it over 7 times, when we normally turn it over about 20+ a game.

Its just one game, and MSU is significantly better than Ole Miss, though I thought it was odd that Deville didn't get more playing time and that Moultrie and Hood weren't the focus of the offense. Moultrie and Hood shot it 18 times combined. Bost shot it 15 times. That to me, is why Ole Miss won. If MSU gets that corrected they will be just fine, the talent is there.
