Ok gang, what are the best places to eat before our game against the Foxes? Preferably, reasonably close to the high school.

Kings Pizza is 2 minutes from the school it’s very good, Vinny’s pizza also in the same area. El charro is right there if you’re interested in Mexican food. Those are the best options close imo. If you’re heading up on 301 through Caroline/ port royal Horne’s is on your right on the way into King George just across the bridge in Caroline, that’s the best restaurant in the area, it’s right at 15 minutes before you get to the high school.

somebody (not me) need to keep this info somewhere since those places are gonna be visited every year by someone on here.
It was suggested to me last night that I should compile the best places to gather and eat when at certain schools or stadiums. I think that would be fun information to have around. I’ll think about starting on that over the winter.
(Of course, I may be forced to personally try most of them to validate the quality of their reputation. No really, I don’t mind the sacrifice😝)

Based on the information we have received we may not have time to eat unless we leave at 3:00pm. We were told the parking can be a zoo with long walks to the field. We were told to be at the field no later than 6. That makes it tough.

DP,

My sister lives up in KG and her daughter went to KGHS not too long ago. Her husband just retired from the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren after a long career as some type of Research/Mathematician/Scientist or something.

He always loved to say to everyone "Man, I'm working on this big a-- project but I if I told you about it, I'd have to kill ya" haha.

Anyway, they enjoy Vinny's and King's Pizza as has already been mentioned on here.

I agree with Bcope83, stop by and eat at Horne's on 301 right before the bridge into KG. It is made like an old 1950s diner and the food is good. Fun gift shop and they are famous for their old fashioned milkshakes.

I often stop by there on the way up to Fredericksburg or N. Virginia.

You guys don't realize the trouble you are causing. @DinwiddieProud will stop at all if the recommended places and we will not make the game. The other night he ate a gallon of chili and 15 ham rolls. Now @uvacavs1 you bring milkshakes into the equation. His fat butt will have to try every flavor.
And this is a problem because???
Clarkefan goes to games for the bands, I go to games to eat! I don’t see the problem.
