I'd be surprised if he stays in D-1. But maybe we could make a trade with Duke for Cutcliff.

I wonder if D-II head coach pays more than NFL RB coach.

as a coach when he leaves MSU. Look at the interest he drew last year even with the COTY award. The guy is a big mouthed , lazy , no-coaching dumbass with a huge chip on his shoulder. He also brings a ton if racial baggage connected to his subsequent firing after you`ve hired him. The only thing he`s good for is token position which the color of the hire`s skin is more important than their ability.

I also believe that he'll never set foot on Bowl Series football field again as a head coach. That fact will also be MSU and Greg Byrne's best friend when GB finally fires his ***. Anyone trying to call the dismissal unfair will be quickly quieted by the severe lack of interest in Croom when he leaves.

Also, you're right that all other schools and AD's will look at the handcuffs that MSU has been in for the last 5 years and they'll want no part of that.

Croom served his purpose.

And MState was an easy mark to get it done.

Time to move on.
