Is there a good site that makes updated predictions on Regionals? (probably not)

Where do you think we'll land? Where do you hope we end up? What is worst case scenario in your mind?

We end up in Arizona as one of the top #2 seeds. I don't like the trip across country, but I think we can win it. I see the committee wanting an SEC team out there to make it more appealing to the locals and hopefully get some crowds. Strictly a wild guess though

Best case: Gary, Indiana
Worst Case: North Carolina or Rice

Thoughts?

Perfect Game has us in Raliegh:

1. NC State
2. Mississippi State
3. Appalachian State
4. Sacred Heart

Opposite Florida (UCF, Wake Forest, Belmont)

SE Baseball has us in Gary

1. Purdue
2. Mississippi State
3. Indiana State
4. Valpo

Opposite Oregon (Clemson, Gonzaga, Southern Illinois)

Can't say I wouldn't mind either of those regionals.

It would be extremely difficult to go on the road and beat NC State (19-11 ACC, RPI 9) and then go on the road and beat Florida. I think our Omaha chances are 10% if that happens. Don't forget that Appalachian State won a series at LSU, so that's a pretty strong 3.<div>
</div><div>If we are matched up with Purdue and then Oregon, we're probably the most likely of the 8 teams in those two regionals to reach Omaha. That would be a MUCH better draw.</div>

but it wouldn't surprise me if they set us up to meet one in the SR. Not down to Gainesville again, please!

I want us in Gary and then matched up with a non-SEC regional where the host of that regional has a chance to be upset at home. That would open a possible door on hosting a Super Regional in two weeks ala the Clemson Super Regional win of a few years back.</p>

Definitely won't be Gary. Matched up with a Florida or South Carolina Super.

Would love to match up with Kentucky, but it wont happen. We always get the shaft

in conference. one is a complete stud. Everyone has good pitching, but seeing this leads me to not wanting Raleigh. I think purdue is our best shot.

If Graveman isnt 100%, everywhere is difficult.

North Carolina and South Carolina have 9 schools projected to be in the tournament, 3 of those should host (UNC, NC State, and USC) and none the other schools are projected as 4 seeds. The way the selection committee has tried to keep teams regional, I would expect the other Carolina schools to fill the #2 and #3 spots throughout these regionals.<div>

we will be matched up opposite Florida again. The NCAA likes to change things up a little bit.

That's what at least one site has us projected as strong chance of. I think that matchup would be our best chance to win. Of course, I have a personal preference for that too because I live about 4 1/2 hrs from there, so would get see games in person. I definately agree with other comments about not wanting us in asite that would result in facing SEC team in a SR.
