how many TV sets were broken and how many times the phrase "that's bs" was said in homes between Red Bay and Bayou La Batre when Treeeeent didn't win it!

Griffin had the best stats with the least amount of talent around him. He was a pretty obvious winner.

What's political about giving it to him?<div>
</div><div>Also, who cares what his team's record is. The award goes to the most outstanding player, and easily proved it by having the best stats and turning a 5-win-at-best team into a 9-3 team. Sorry he couldn't win every single game for you, but he did single-handedly win several games for them.</div><div>
</div><div>And you still haven't even tried to show how it's political. Even if you think Richardson is better, how is it "political" to give it to him? (If you play the race card, you're a dick.)</div>

</div><div>RG3 has the higher QB rating, and that doesn't even touch the fact that RG3 also added 644 rushing yards and 9 TDs (compared to Keenum's 25 yards and 3 TDs), or that Big 12 defenses are MUCH better than CUSA defenses.</div><div>
</div><div>And while it doesn't matter for the Heisman (but you were bringing up this criteria earlier today), RG3 will be a top 10 draft pick, and projected by some even ahead of Richardson.</div><div>
</div><div>AND you still haven't even tried to back up your comment that it's somehow "political." Even when the wrong person wins (like Mark Ingram over Toby Gerhardt), it's not "political" -- the voters just got it wrong.</div>

</div><div>By the way, can you FedEx me a pallet of rubbers to New Orleans on, say, January 9th?</div>

Doesn't really count as "bangin ***"

Better enjoy The Quarter before the game- after it will really suck for you

Would you still say that Bama'a not the better team and that LSU still legitimately deserves a share of the title? Look, I know a lot of people are pissed that Bama gets the rematch. I kind of am too. I really wish Okie St. had taken care of business and we had two undefeated teams that haven't played each other in the title game. But that didn't happen. Bama's in that game because they earned it more than any other team besides LSU did. It sucks that it's a rematch, but those are the breaks. Live with it.

or that Big 12 defenses are MUCH better than CUSA defenses.

66. TX A&M
74. K-State
107. OK. State
114. Baylor
115. TX Tech
120 Kansas
Avg. = 77

Total Defense rankings for CUSA
11 UCF
31. Southern Miss
37. SMU
56. East Carolina
64. Houston
82. Tulane
86. Marshall
90. Tulsa
105. UTEP

So, the defenses, statistically, that each QB played were identical. Not saying RG3 wasn't a legitimate winner, but the Big 12 defenses were abysmal this season. Not counting Baylor, they had 3 teams in the bottom 15 this year. So, you can't minimize Keenum's stats because of the defenses he played while saying RG3 played against better defenses. Simply isn't true.
