Just read on their board that he's one of Zipp's drinkin' buddies.

And some of you love his input. Wake the fudge up.

Would you want to hang around on your rivals board after a loss to them, at home, while having the leading Heisman candidate on your team and you were a huge favorite? I know I wouldn't.

It's called manning up after crowing leading up to the game.

Been right here Gene. I know there is a lot of celebrating going on right now but try to keep up. [winking]

I'm strictly a Card fan in this one but congrats again on a great win. Grantham's defensive plan was apparently "beat us with the pass"...and Johnson did. For the record, UK now owns the 2 biggest upsets in this series (13 point 'dawg in 2002 and a 28 point 'dawg yesterday.

Peace

I really don't think it was an upset as much as you guys are way overrated. Seriously.
were giving them credit
I very much agree with this statement! Much of the "media driven" status of the UL Program was way overblown! I do not mean to imply that UL isn't a good team, THEY ARE!!!!
The skill that UK has displayed over the last half of the season certainly suggests that they deserved to be thought of more highly than the pundits were giving them credit for!!!

You really didn't have to come back. You may have fooled some over the years but not I.

UK also owns something that U of L has never owned. A winning record in the series.

You guys are right. I always knew those 6 losses from 1912 - 1924 would come back to haunt us. And when you add in the win in 1994 that gives you a 7 game win streak in the series! [laughing]

Hey, we all know if the game had been played since those times UofL would have had no more than 2 or 3 more wins than what they have right now. Go forth and win your bowl game...I mean it.

Peace

Ah yes the Tardinal fall back. History is in the past so it doesn't count. I looked up Tardinal in the urban dictionary. Here's what it says.

Tardinal: subhuman ghetto trash who roots for the ho buyin', motorcycle crashin', affair having, abortion fundin', cheerleader killin', drug dealing, brothel run in', dirty rotten snitches, aka Louisville Cardinals. Often pretend that history doesn't count or didn't happen so that they can overcome little brother syndrome.

Yes, Cards, the old games count in the "series history" for all schools, for all time. If they didn't, our "series history" against Vandy would look good, if it weren't for starting 1-17 in the first 18 games.

Again, most Louisville fans think the game of football started somewhere in between their first two national titles in basketball, like the mid-eighties, maybe even the week Kentucky's All-American Tight End was hired as their head coach.

Give old Schnellenberger credit on being right: Louisville is on a Collision Course with a National Championship . . . . the only variables being Houston and Kentucky!

WOW! Tough crowd in this thread.

Aside from just a big win it moves UK up a notch and UofL down a notch in the bowl pecking order and that has to be worth some bonus happiness.

I will again offer congratulations on a great win and, with this post, will be bowing out of this thread. But (emboldened in some part by 20 or so "likes" to this and my earlier congratulatory post) I will return to other football threads. And for those troubled by my posts, just put me on ignore. [winking]

Later, Guys

Good point, and what the LoL fans don't consider is that, had the "modern series" started 20 years before it did, we would have more cushion, probably to the tune of 13-7 or so, in that time period, and if 30 years ago, it might have been a cushion of 20-10 over that time period. As bad as UK has been throughout its history, Louisville has been worse. Had we played every year since the first game 100 years ago or whenever, we would probably have a 30 game lead.

See you can be a sarcastic opposing fan on this board. No ban, no calling you a stupid, effin, ******* with a f you in all capitals.
But try that on your board. And steelers bans you, and allows the rest.

The important thing about this thread. Is Wildcard a drinking bud of Zipp? If so he went down a lot of notches in my book, he was always a passive aggressive know it all who thought he was smarter about FB than anyone but pretty good poster. If these reports are true and you chum up next to that POS, well not good. I would rather buddy up to a dead Castro.
