Which coaching jobs open up after this season?

Could be some big time programs looking for coaches.

If UK does let go of Stoops, will be interesting to see who we will be competing against for a coach.

I'm guessing Auburn and LSU in the SEC.

Wouldn't be surprised to see USC clip Clay Helton.

Penn State fans seem to have lost faith in James Franklin.

Purdue most likely.

I think this is yet another reason(other than the buyout) that Stoops will be here next year.If we win 4 he is a lock to stay,it gets a bit more iffy with a 2 win season(which is in play)

There's always going to be schools other than Kentucky looking for coaches. The pool we chose from won't likely be any better next year, and there sure won't be an Art Briles available.

True, those guys may be on hot seats but that really doesn't impact UK for 2 reasons: (1) $12,000,000 buyout and (2) I'm not sure any of those guys could really help UK.

Miles' teams play like it is 1980 and line up in those 21 personnel sets and try to pound it down your throat; even with Auburn's talent Malzahn seems to need very special offensive players, Franklin's flame may be burning out, other coaches don't matter as far as UK is concerned. JMO

Peace

Doc, you may have been OK at the corral, but your wrong on this. If he doesn't win 5 games, I'll bet you he's gone.

OLD STOLL FIELD GUY!

This is what many here don't get,no one else will touch Petrino with a 10 foot pole (dancer) for a couple more years no matter what he does at UL

I would bet real money Bobby P ends up on the west coast in two years. Brohm will get the Cards nod.

Would not be surprised if Auburn takes a run at Petrino. There are no bounds to the level of dirtiness/money that program and its booster will spend to win. LSU probably goes after Herman. Doubt Brohm would go to Vandy.

Back to Petrino, honestly, UofL is a top 5 job as long as Jackson has eligibility and is healthy. When Jackson is gone, Bobby probably won't be too far behind.
