Supposedly running football only as a big 13 team conference. Some teams play 6 conference games some 7.
Each week during conference play one team has a bye, so non conference games will be mixed in during the year.
Supposedly if one team is 6-0 and one is 7-0 they will be co- champs or two teams with one loss.
Sounds like it's going to be a mess.

Gentlemen. This is just like any university analogy. The conference that recruits the most and spends the most will be the toughest. Simple stuff.

Sounds awful. I'll see if I can get the scoop to confirm this awfulness.

And how are we still not playing Andrew?

With the closing of LWN and exit of the 2 Joliets ... SWSC Blue (Lockport, Sandburg, B-brook, H-F, LWE & Stagg) and SWSC Red (Thornton, Andrew, LWC, Bradley, Thornwood, Thornridge & LWW) are the division breakdowns for the 12 of 29 sports in which all these 13 schools will field teams.

After viewing the IHSA schedules, I must reply to myself. If you match the IHSA schedules just posted with the SWSC division assignments circulated in print in D230 (and quoted above), something is off. None of the schools listed within a division plays all of the others during the season. Anybody have an answer?

There is only 1 conference and it looks like LWW is the frontrunner somehow because they have the unique combination of being one of the best Red teams and not having to play 2 of LWE, HF, and The Brook.

SMH this set up is awful

I thought something was strange when Sandburg wasn't on Lockport's schedule this coming season. I noticed Sandburg doesn't play the Brook as well.
