I wish more people would be optimistic about The Wall. Aside from deterring illegal entry into the Nation, this venture could actually pay dividends as a tourist attraction alone. See Great Wall of China. Shared resort areas could benefit both countries. Rest assured, when it is built, many will exploit its very existence. Positive thinking my friend.

That wall the Warsaw Pact put around East Berlin worked pretty good keeping folks from escaping.

If they start to tunnel under it, you don't think with our modern technology we couldn't place ground sensors or motion detectors to pick up that sort of activity?

Then let's say they do tunnel under it, somewhere they have to come up on the other side. We couldn't have Mexican sniffing Dogs, or posses riding around on ATV's "paintballing" the varmints once they burrow up from underground? (LOL)
