muster a must have rebound for his life. That's the story if you ask me and has been all year. We crash the boards like women.
Randy's case doesn't really confuse me....if you take 5,000 shots, miss 4500 of them and make the rest you get 1000 points. AD is surprising.
But seriously Randy's avg points/game isn't bad, it's just that he really does shoot some stupid *** shots and bricks alot. Also, never seems to come up with a shot when we really need it.

is more puzzling. He's been a pretty mediocre running back. At least when you watch the games he plays in. It always seems like he runs into the back of the line. I guess when you run the ball a gazillion times and pick a few yards a carry, they start to add up.
It pained me everytime this past season I would see us line up for 3rd and 1 or 4th and 1 because I knew our dumbass coaches were going to give it to Dixon and he was going to do a tap dance behind the offense line, before trying to run east and west 5 yards to only gain possibly 3 inches. You can only wonder what if had we got a decent offensive line for Norwood.
...1000 points isn't what it used to be, but 1000 points for Stewart in three years is pretty surprising for me...given how he struggles to create his own shot and he played two years with JaMoney.
Dixon is not surprising. It all boils down to carries. He has gotten tons of carries. If a guy played 12 games per year for 4 years, and got 20 carries per game, he would have 960 carries in a 4-year career. Average 3.5 yards per carry and you would have over 3300 yards, which would sound impressive. Pretty simple really.

Its not hard to be our all time leading rusher when you get to carry the ball the bulk of the time for 4 years.
It not hard to score 1000 points when you average 24 mpg as a freshman, 35 mpg as a soph and 31 mpg as a jr. Barry can be a solid player for us, he's just in a bad half court offense so he tries to do way too much. Someone needs to stop that.

Stewart's played in nearly 100 games and averaged around 10 a game. 1000 points isn't that extraordinary - the club is pretty big. Hell, Greg Lockhart is in it.</p>
Dixon, on the other hand, could be our ALL TIME LEADING RUSHER and that's a one man club. That's mind blowing. </p>

I'm betting Dixon will be your all-time leader in number of carries as well, if he isn't already.

He has 653 carries in his career. #2 on the MSU all-time carries list is Michael Davis at 578, a whopping 75 carries behind, and Dixon still has a year to play. Which really shows just how bad Dixon sucks that he can have that many more carries than any RB in MSU history and still be 600 yards short of our career rushing record.

Add another 80 because of the I-AA team and that we play and our HC opponent, plus other misc. games you come out to 800 yards. With the offense that we ran, 1,000 yards should not be all that hard for a decent back to get. Someone like JJ Johnson would have had at least 1200 running behind the crap line we had.

a bigtime Sr year and makes it, and the team has a good year, then I won't cringe when I see his name in the top ten. If, however, he makes it shooting 30% from the floor and hitting 11 FTs a game, and the team is sitting at home next spring, that'll be another matter.
