which stings more: polks fall from grace ranked #1 or um's from #4?

Our baseball team went from #1 to missing the SEC tournament I believe. This year's Ole Miss team could conceivably win out and go 10-2. Way to jump the gun there buddy.
when we were #1. That team played really uptight. It was a matter of time before the balloon popped so to speak, and when it did- BOOM!
That was the year Polk left Mike Valentine out to dry at La Tech.
I'd have to say that Ole Miss falling from 4th to out hurts worse. It's still to early to officially tell, but IF they don't turn it around I'll say that it hurts worse. Going from thinking that you are going to the SEC Championship Game to maybe the Indy Bowl or maybe not making it all is quite a disappointment.

as good as that ranking. Every Ole Miss fan I know was covered in 100% merino wool with many having Atlanta reservations. To date their fall hurt their fans worse but to accurately answer the question we'll have to see how they finish.
