Agreed on the last point. As far as a straw poll goes: Absolutely no: DUKE, WF, BC, UNC, UVA and GT Absolutely yes: Clemson, FSU, sPitt, Loserville, suckacuse, Miami and VT. Waffle: NCSt, No data: ND This comes from multiple reports over the years as to how votes have gone in the past. Just enough old school ******** there to keep WVU out. As much as many WVU fans wanted that ACC invite, I never did and I believe our best chance of survival comes with our move to the B12. If we were already in the ACC, our facilities would have suffered relative to what we currently have and the B12 frankly would have better geographical options now as opposed to a decade ago. We would be lock step with our old BE allies waiting to walk the plank off of the SS Big East v2.0. I think the B12 picked up the obvious best options months ago and we are also the only major conference with any decent proximity to the PAC 12 teams that remain. The Big 10 moves incredibly slow and they just made a huge move. The SEC won't touch them with a ten foot pole and the ACC is equally screwed. I didn't see this outcome 6 months ago, but unless our new Commish sh!ts the bed, we actually might live to fight another day.
