Help me out as a short timer in Illinois.
GW has now won 8 straight WSS titles as the smallest school in the conference. No school in the 90+ year history of the conference had ever won 6 straight. We are talking about at least 3 schools that put out high quality teams (LT, OPRF, HC) every year and a couple of others that are capable (York, DGN) of very good years. After PW next week, it will be 47 of 48 in those 8 years and 30 straight.
I see Maine South winning 73 straight in conference against teams that don't seem to be nearly the quality as WSS. Not calling out MS, just looking for some perspective on what I see as a ridiculous run.
