Ohio Stadium and at OSU. I think most bad experiences are due to rivalries. The worst non-rivalry fans I have ever dealt with in person were Illinois and Louisville. UL has some absolute pricks in their fan base.
Other than the always-wearing-purple thing, I find them much cooler on the whole than KU fans (caveat: I live in Lawrence, so maybe I don't see enough K Staters)
...is that they've always been the "little brother" in their own town because Memphis is an SEC town. They've always been picked on, ridiculed, and demeaned. Now that they have a premier basketball program, they're crowing about it. I don't consider them ********, just annoying. I don't blame them; if we ever got to that level in a sport, folks would be saying the same thing about us.

Their football fans are terrible because they have this chip on their shoulder about SEC football.
I could not decide if they were just jerks, or if they were just that way because of their hatred for Jackie. There was one man sitting a few rows behind me that did nothing but heckle Sherrill the whole game (as if he could be heard). I don't think he gave a **** about the actual game.
