How do you feel about Chicago and the feckless Mayor there, more worried about illegals than his own Chicagoans, being murdered to the tune of about 700 per year? The illegals are safe, my residents, not so much and I don't care.

My point being that Americans, and Trump, talking about a "Travel Ban" (which, remember, he said it wasn't a "ban" at all....hmmmm), to keep Americans safe, yet we aren't safe from ourselves.

Nope. Not all over the place. You are making my point. While we have Americans who look at a potential Muslim and are "in fear" for their lives, they are not seeing the American next to them with a gun or knife ready to slaughter several Americans........

You've got me pegged wrong, that's for sure.

I've never been "for" the temporary travel ban. It's Trump's prerogative as president to do so, but I don't want to stop refugees from coming. Illegal immigration is not the same, however. That needs to be stopped, and controlled better. We do need to know who is here for what purpose, and that they will contribute to our society... and not be feeding off our our trough.

Why do you think I've continued with coaching football for as long as I have? Because I love the sport, sure. But this is my biggest ministry at this time, and my little contribution to society. It's to keep kids out of the situation where they feel they need to use violence. It's to help mentor these teenagers to grow up to be successful young men. Have I gotten into issues with some? Absolutely. Could they bring a gun the next time they show up? Absolutely, or even their parents.

Am I scared? No, I don't have time for that.

There is no single answer to stop violence. We've never stopped it since our beginnings. If the best you've got is saying American violence > Muslim violence on a message board, you need to be doing more.

And as for our president, here's a history of his thoughts during or after tragedies and how he bounces around.......



So, don't blame guns, blame video games.........Tipper Gore tried that with music, and the Right Wing went nuts about it......guess video games are different......



He was silent when Ted Nugent got on stage and said the following...."Hey, Obama! You might want to suck on one of these, you punk!" Obama, he's a piece of (expletive deleted), and I told him to suck on my machine gun. Let's hear it for him!...........



Then meets with the NRA, discusses things, and then is against any type of a ban on anything gun related........new donations given to him, perhaps, changed his mind????

You have no clue what I do in my community. You think you are the only one that helps out? I've got kids in sports. I coach. I organize. I spend $$$ to help kids that can't afford things (cleats, jersey, etc.). So, don't lump me in to a general claim that I don't do anything.

If you feel the way you do, why don't you jump in there and tell some of your Right-Wing buddies on here who blast everything Muslim related as evil and stand up for what you say you believe in? That's "doing something".

Because both of you are right. Muslims aren't the majority of the murders in this country, but, almost all terrorism in this world today is Muslims.

Where have you been? I used to post Chicago data on a regular basis about the genocide taking place in that city. The libs on this board trashed me for doing it. I think I'll start doing it again since they will now approve now that we have a NEW occupant in White House.

Yeah......that's bad. Chicago must have a lot of Muslim terrorists living there to cause all that carnage. As long as we focus on our travel ban, the crime rate in Chicago and the random shootings around America will get better when they aren't allowed in our nation......

No connection to Muslim terrorists;). So far none of the shooters were heard proclaiming " Glory to Allah".
