.....somewhat of a victory, I saw an LSU team that was ripe for an upset loss to a hungry, well-coached team. The crowd has been too drunk to be a factor, and we had our chances. But alas, we're MSU, and we lost anyway.

It can be spinned by both sides of the argument, so I won't even bother to say much more about it. For me though, my opinion hasn't changed about a coaching change.

Hasn't changed? We have found a qb, put up some points, and stayed with LSU until the middle of the 4th quarter, and wouldve been within 3 if our tb hadn't dropped a touchdown. Forget you and your ilk of people who care more about your agenda than the success of our team. That's ********.

The dumbest statement ive ever seen.. Dont you know that DRUNKS IS what makes Tiger Stadium. I guess it takes some *** like you to go down there and experience it. Your opinion is stupid and wrong, and most of all, makes absolutely NO SENSE at all.

While Bob Davie sat there and yammered on about how weak LSU's secondary is, we completed our ONE and ONLY pass beyond 20 yards to Jamayel Smith, with less than 5 minutes left in the game. Tyson Lee is more composed than lots of MSU quarterbacks thru the years, but if you really think that PeeWee is going to lead us anywhere, then I want what you are drinking/smoking.

this is the most points we've scored and the closest we've competed with LSU since 2000, I'm somewhat encouraged. I still don't think Croom is the right person for the job, but at least the team hasn't completely quit. We played pretty damn good at times tonight, and hung with LSU for damn near 60 minutes.

The most unoriginal ****. It was old 5 years ago. The tougest part of our schedule is behind us now, and we actually sustained some drives against LSU. Moral victory? No. Reason for hope? Yep. Let the season play out, and hopefully we'll win enough to keep our recruiting class. I know you, Arrow, and half of this board would rather see us fail, but to State fans, there's reason to hope we can put something together.

If Ducre catches that 3rd down pass, we might've had a 3-point game with 6 minutes left. No matter how we got there, that's definitely "staying with" a team, wouldn't you say?

This in no way endorses Croom. ****, he's the reason it wasn't closer thanks to his idiocy at the end of the first half. But you have to admit, us scoring 24 points was shocking, and losing by 10 was even more shocking.

No, we would not have. Ducre would have stepped out or been caught from behind while trying to stay in bounds. I venture to say we "stayed" with LSU the whole game. However, they were never in jeopardy of losing the game.

In response to the thread in general. Yep, many State fans will talk about effort, executing plays. Yeah, we looked more in sync on offense. However, we will still be out manned the rest of the season with the exception of two or three games.

The ones who have already made up their minds will always see what they want to see. Of course, a lot of those don't even go a game. They have their miriad of excuses for not going, but in reality they had rather sit at home and ***** about everything. Unfortunatly, we have always had more than our share of those kind of fans.

We were a dropped pass away from trailing by three with about 8 minutes left and all the momentum in Tiger stadium. Oh, and if Dixons not offsides, we get that onside kick.

A lot of them stopped going to games after throwing a lot of money down the drain for years and years just to watch boring *** losing losing football.

State has entertained some of the largest crowds in the history of the program the last few years. Has that equated into more wins?

Of course you were talking about me. I stopped going to games for the reason I gave to you in response.

As for my mind being closed, I think it's the opposite way around. I prefer to expect more out of our program, while others accept losing season after losing season as long as we're competitive. If that's your thing, go with it. Not any of my business.

from after the point we let them do whatever they wanted on their first 3 drives and go up 17-3, I thought that was the best we've looked as a team all year. We actually had a QB that seemed to find some rhythm and looked like a respectable offense. The defense was adequate after those early 17 points but it just came down to the fact that they could run it down our throat when they needed to. If we can improve upon tonight, then winning 3 in a row at home against Vandy, MTSU and KY is not an impossible task. Improbable yes, but not impossible. It was nice to get to see Lee with some extended time to really evaluate him and show that he is capable of making accurate throws when given time and can scramble around and make a few plays even when not given time. We are in a deep hole no doubt, but I will say that I am slightly more encouraged now than after last week's loss for sure. I do believe bowl hopes are all but gone, but we might still have a shot at a 5-7 record if we can build on some of the things we did tonight which would at least beat the heck out of slipping back to our standard 3 win season.

BAAAAAAAAAA. All that bragging on the offense and we still finished with less than 300 yards. We are 1-4. The season is over and the crooked hat bastard will find a way to lose to either Vandy or MTSU. Book it.

...the fact is that LSU was pretty damn conservative at the end. The game was never in danger, and we never got closer than 10. They could've thrown the ball downfield on us anytime they wanted. Had Ducre caught that ball, he wouldn't have scored, and it's an assumption of biblical proportions that we would've been able to drive the ball at will if we get the onside kick.

You want to claim some moral victory because we "hung" with LSU, then go ahead. Myself, I'm sick of losing.

I'm not taking it seriously.

I just think you're so predictably on the Fire Croom Bandwagon. And I don't buy the passion you try to show for it. So I ain't serious or drunk. And you ain't being stratght as an arrow ought to be. We're all lying, I think. Me with my username. And you on your bandwagon.

and a few others. Did I ***** right before half? Yep. But I did find some encouragement with Lee and some "wrinkles" that were thrown in the offense. Will I still be on Croom's ***? Yep. I still want our team to do good and always try to be positive if I see anything to be positive about. I saw a few things and am curious about our next game. Sue me. Some folks are sick of the ******** as I am and just refuse to see any type of bright side due to the fact that they believe there's a possibility Croom could get fired this year. I don't see it happening until next year no matter what so I'm hoping for anything at the moment. And yes, I felt like if Ducre caught the ball he could have gone all the way and if he didn't, we would have had some momentum to do something with it. The game suprised me. I thought the score would be 52-3 LSU, so yes, I was suprised I still had hope in the 4th qtr.

that this sudden improvement will just as suddenly disappear against Vanderbilt in 2 weeks like it appeared tonight. Croom always reverts back to old form in the next game, and it will probably cost a win that we desperately need.

FRUSTRATING!

Over-rated yes. If you allow that manyp oints from us againt you in the SEC than sir you are terrible. Also, why did we never go deep? Why did we not try our 17ing chances Crxxm??. Why did we lose Crxxm?? Why did Ole Miss make us look like our team came off the short bus?? Why did you not use one of 3 time outs before the 17ing half?? We were move the damn ball just by running it to dixon you IDIOT. Why did Ducre drop the ball?? Was it because he is a 3rd string for no reason??Thats my guess.. Why did Relf not play?? You said he would!! Why are you such an *** to the public?? We gave you a chance but you prefer being an ***. Why dont you recruit talent?? Because they dont have character! Why did we punt the ball and not go for it on 4th downs?? We might have made it damn it! Crxxm I like you but when it comes to football get the hell out of here please.
