I’ve always gotten a kick out of the super fans from any sport. Soccer, the NFL(Raiders come to mind), or even those that get completely decked out for college games. I just think that they take what would have been a good game regardless, and they help to make the event larger than life

That said, I don’t think that Vandy’s whistlers do what they do because they want to be thought of as a super fan. I think they get an absolute kick out of making everyone around them want to light their van on fire, and I’ve never understood that mentality. Getting joy out of making people miserable...

As I told my wife last night, it will only take one guy having a bad night to shut those bastards up for good, but it’s gotta happen at some point

Yes, I'm sure the whistlers are the type of people who spit their gum out in the parking lot knowing they won't see who steps on it, but they get a kick out of knowing someone will. Right where you put your feet when you open the car door to get out as well.

Truly miserable people.
