I've never seen all 3 models (Euro, American, Canadian) agree on a winter storm this many days out. Timeline is Fri night through Sun. Could be a major ice event for all. Get your generators ready.
Showing Seaton to LUS.Like what?
GFS latest run showing snow depths of 6-8 inches for the metro. Obviously it’s way far out and could end up with nothing.Like what?
Madison MS looks to be exempt from this other than maybe roads getting icy depending on when the Saturday rain crosses paths with the 24 degreesI've never seen all 3 models (Euro, American, Canadian) agree on a winter storm this many days out. if it is still wet/raining when the temp drops it could be. It'll be coincident with however prepared I am. If ya'll don't want any hassle, I can run out and get prepared this week. That looks like potentially a lot of ice Saturday night & Sunday.
I'm hoping the rain stops several hours before the temp drops below freezing.if it is still wet/raining when the temp drops it could be. It'll be coincident with however prepared I am. If ya'll don't want any hassle, I can run out and get prepared this week.

Not a weather guy but I’d say chances are good if the tournament is indoors and all the participants have access to a dog sled team.Weather guys, what are the chances of a tennis tournament in Hattiesburg this weekend Friday evening through Sunday?
The forecast for SE Alabama and most of south Georgia was pretty good several days out, except the actual weather was a little north of what was predicted. The models keep getting better and better.Right now the models are in very good agreement on a significant winter storm affecting the area, but there is disagreement on placement. That, unfortunately, won't be nailed down until much closer to time.
when you mentioned sausages it reminded me to refill my viagra thanksBuy a few extra cans of Vienna sausages
Would 1-2 inches be more familiar to you?Which metro?

And …. Yeah, this isn’t OH, so …. Just saying in this remote dry *** State; we just want some snow!!!Man you folks wishing for snow…. Last week I worked 3 days between Cleveland, OH and Erie, PA. Wednesday morning there was a foot of snow on my rental car at the hotel. Thursday it took me 3 hours to drive 50 miles on I-90 to make a flight.
16 degree and 30 mph winds. Absolutely 17ing miserable every time you stepped outside.
No thanks.
Like ‘85 and ‘94. In ‘94 at least it warmed up pretty quickly, but the damage was doneObviously still early to pinpoint but someone is going to get a massive ice storm. This could be catastrophic
